LEUKEMIA LYMPHOMA SOCIETY

In the spring of 2024, I embarked on a journey fueled by desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those battling leukemia and lymphoma. It all began with a simple idea: to organize a fundraising campaign to support the vital work of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). LLS's mission is one that is important to me as I have seen first hand what cancer can do patient, my grandma suffered through cancer and it was her will power and resilience that was truly inspirational to me, I wanted to contribute to help others who are going through the same difficult journey and do whatever I can to support them. So, I set out to raise funds to contribute to life-saving research, patient support services, and advocacy efforts. Launching the campaign required careful planning and strategic execution. I utilized various fundraising techniques, including online crowdfunding platforms and community events, to engage supporters and spread awareness about the cause. Every dollar raised brought us one step closer to our objective of making a tangible impact in the fight against blood cancers. As the campaign gained momentum, I was humbled by the overwhelming support and generosity of friends, family members, colleagues, and even strangers who rallied behind our cause. Their unwavering dedication and willingness to contribute spoke volumes about the power of collective action and the importance of coming together to support those in need. Through persistent effort and relentless dedication, I surpassed my initial fundraising target, ultimately raising an impressive total of $1,050 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I was honored to be awarded as one of the first ten team members out of the thousands nationally to raise $250 from kickoff.
